Northwest Doulas is an agency that was started in 2016 by Chrissy Dougan, a doula and mom herself. From the beginning, her goal has been to assist all families and ensure they have the support systems they need. In 2018, Chrissy saw a new opportunity and expanded the organization to provide nannies for families around the area. Now, no matter what you need, they have the perfect team member for you! If you decide that Northwest Doulas is the team for you, you’ll be able to select from both birth and postpartum doulas. Their birth doulas start their work long before your due date. They will get to know you and your family so they can find out all of your preferences. They can also work with you to create your birth plan. No matter what you want for your delivery, they will be there to respect and empower you! Throughout your entire labor, they will be by your side, acting as your biggest advocate. Following delivery, they will provide immediate postpartum care.
With the Northwest Doulas postpartum doulas, you will have both emotional and hands-on care. Your doula will be there for meal prep, household help, newborn care, emotional support, and informational care. They can provide both daytime and overnight assistance.
