Did you ever wonder what the best senior picture locations in Erie, Pa are? Here is some advice from your Erie, Pa senior portrait photographer.
Probably my #1 requested location for senior pictures is Presque Isle State Park, because it has gorgeous sunsets, beautiful sandy beaches, and grassy trails. In other words, you cannot go wrong choosing a spot at this location. If you would like a map of the park, you can find it on the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Resources website.
Frontier park is an awesome spot to get a variety of pictures in a nature setting. After exploring the beautiful bridges and a creek that runs through it, checkout the grassy fields and paths that take you through the woods. Explore the park’s arboretum map for all the beautiful spots.
Downtown Erie is the perfect spot to add an urban vibe to your senior portraits, because there are so many colors and backdrops. You can visit the steps of the Erie Art Museum, traverse down to the Modern Tool Square Courtyard, then make your way to a colorful graffiti wall. Because opportunities are endless, you are going to love it!
There are a variety of college campuses around the Erie area, but Behrend is an Erie, Pa senior favorite. It’s large, there are wooded areas, awesome bridges, and walking trails. Additionally, there are a variety of beautiful trees around campus and in late Spring you will see beautiful flowering trees.
Asbury Woods is a superb spot for senior pictures. Many grassy fields, hiking paths, and a beautiful boardwalk through the woods. You will also find a variety of gorgeous wildflowers throughout summer and fall.
The Erie bay is a fabulous spot for senior portraits. There are a variety of spots to choose. The buildings or the water can be your backdrop.
